You may be wondering what a nutrition and health coach does? Well we educate our clients to make smarter food choices so they can achieve specific health outcomes. Nutrition and Health Coaches don’t just focus on diet and nutrition, we assess your overall wellbeing looking at lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress levels, relationships, relaxation and fitness, both physical and mental.

- I can therefore help you lose weight, support conditions such as IBS and improve your gut health, help you understand food and food labelling, support allergies and intolerances

- I want you to create positive, life-long lifestyle habits that help you reach optimal levels of health and wellness
- I can show you how to achieve that consistency in a realistic way for 21st century living
- The health coach and client enter a partnership working towards the client’s goals with a non-judgemental approach

Remember the support and advice I give will be practical, realistic, sustainable and unique to you and your desired health outcomes.
You will gain the knowledge and understanding of your own health journey and will be motivated to achieve the goals you seek which could be to maintain better weight, sleep well, improve digestion, stronger immune system, clearer skin, more energy, reduce stress and cope better with stressful situations to name a few!
This is personalised care, given on a 1-2-1 basis, where you have control as your individualised plan will be based on what matters to you. So how does it work?
First of all you can have a 20 minute free call to see if this is thing for you. If it is, then I’d get you to keep a food diary for a typical week in your life so that when we meet (and this can be over Zoom if you prefer), I have a full understanding of what you eat and drink on a regular basis.
On our first meet, I would go through a health questionnaire that covers all aspects of your life including nutrition, not just what but how you eat, sleep patterns, stress levels, exercise, environment, relationships and social life, what you want to achieve from your nutrition and health coach sessions.
I would take all of this information and create your own unique health and lifestyle program to help you reach your desired goals this will include food lists to support a health food shop, healthy meal ideas with a few recipes, tools to support better sleep, fitness and stress management such as relaxation techniques and exercise ideas that fit in with your lifestyle.
I will send this to you and then have a short call to cover any questions you may have then we’d make another date in the diary for a follow-up appointment a month after that. Depending on the package you require, after the first follow-up, where we’d review your progress and I’d make any necessary tweaks to your plan, we’d make another appointment for a second follow-up.
We’d then look at your progress, celebrate your successes and discuss how you plan to maintain the changes you have put in place. You can have as many follow-up appointment as you need to help you reach your goals, I can work with you for 2, 3, 6 months if necessary, it is entirely up to you and how much support you need. Remember, this is a personalised service and your plan is unique, no one size fits all.
Additional one-off top-up appointments can be made throughout the year as a maintenance or for extra motivation or if a particular goal is desired such as losing those extra pounds for a special event or support getting rid of your sweet tooth after Christmas indulgence or any other advice you require.
Ultimately though, my goal is to pass on my knowledge and empower you to adopt healthy habits that keep you living the long, healthy life you deserve!
